Author Biography

Adam Zagelbaum, PhD, NCC, is an Assistant Professor at Sonoma State University within the Department of Counseling's Pupil Personnel Services track. His experience with immigrant populations has been particularly significant with clients from Africa, Central America, Mexico, and Japan. Dr. Zagelbaum specializes in school counseling, career counseling, child and adolescent counseling, family counseling, group counseling, and has written articles and chapters, created training videos, and presented at international and national conferences. Jon Carlson, PsyD, EdD, ABPP is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Counseling at Governors State University, University Park, Illinois and a Psychologist with the Wellness Clinic in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Jon is the author of 55 books, 175 articles and developed and produced over 300 commercial videotapes that feature prominent leaders in the field.
