Alfred Hitchcock's career spanned more than five decades, during which he directed over fifty films, many of them indisputable classics: The 39 Steps Rebecca, Notorious, Stagers on a Train,-Rear Window, Vertigo, North by Northwest, and Psycho, among others. During the height of his commercial and creative output in the 1950s he produced an anthology television series that lasted ten years. As host of the program and a cameo fixture in his movies, Hitchcock became the most visible and well-known film director in the world.

Author Biography

Jim McDevitt is a freelance writer who has written numerous articles and stories for a variety of paper and Internet publications. Eric San Juan is an editor for a family of seven weekly newspapers in New Jersey.
