Birthing our authentic selves, much like childbirth, can be a laborious and painful process. Yet we are each pregnant with a Divine purpose and the gifts to realize our potential. The issue is that we often allow our lights to dim as we spend years hiding our humanness behind masks of perfection, which lead us to lose the sense of our authentic selves in all the inner chaos and clutter. When we let our fear of being undesirable to other keep us from being true to ourselves, we have to pay the consequences of that choice. Over time, the cost of our avoidance of authenticity is exhaustion, depression, anxiety, and the list goes on and on. Has your debt to the bank of authenticity become more than you are willing to pay?
