Author Biography

Dr. Charles V. Hamilton was a professor of Political Science at Columbia University. Dr. Hamilton was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma . In 1935 his mother moved to Chicago's South side with her three children. Hamilton grew up in a low income neighborhood; however, he did graduate for college with B.A. degree and followed that with J.D. law degree, a M.A. and a Ph.D. He. taught at several universities ending his career in New York at Columbia University.
