Summary

In the post September, 11 world children have a lot more to worry about than monsters under the bed or goblins in the wardrobe. Television can be beneficial, but its images of real and fictional violence, disease and death can also increase anxiety to disturbing levels. Anxiety is now more common among children than ever before, and is recognised by professionals as a serious problem. This book will help parents to understand and correct many underlying causes of anxiety in children.
