Author Biography

Candice C. Carter is Associate Professor of Social Education and Director of the Conflict Transformation Program at the University of North Florida, USA. Her previous books include Peace Philosophy in Action (2010) and Conflict Resolution and Peace Education (2010).

Linda Pickett is Associate Professor and Coordinator of Early Childhood Education at Grand Valley State University, USA. Her recent work focuses on peace education by studying Integrated Education in Northern Ireland and through action research in US classrooms working to develop peaceful practices.
