Author Biography

Li Dan is a T.V. director and journalist who graduated from the Communication University of China and joined Beijing T.V. in 2007. She was the director of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games “ Glory and Dreams” live T.V. broadcast, the chief director of several documentaries such as “ Grasslands in Search of Wolves,” “ Great Contribution,” “ Xinjiang,” “ Zhongguancun & the Power of Change,” etc. She won the Beijing Municipal Literature and Arts Award. Xiao Yu, Senior media person and columnist. He was the chief writer for the opening ceremony of the 18th and 19th National Congresses, the principal writer for the live T.V. broadcast of the military parade in Zhu Rihe and the South China Sea, and the chief writer for more than ten documentaries and political films, including The Road of Certainty, Above the Earth, The Great Victory, Xinjiang, and The Base, etc. He won first prize in the China Press and Beijing Literature awards. Ma Shuqiang graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and has been working on historical documentaries for a long time.
