For instance, topics like the legend of Joe Mulliner, often referred to as the "Robin Hood of the Pines;" the fact that the soils and climate are conducive to the production of excellent wines in the region where one can sample award-winning chardonnays, Merlots and even cranberry wine; the road sometimes referred to as "Cranberry Road" because of the stunning vistas it affords during the cranberry harvest in October; the little "hole- in-the wall" restaurants with fantastic food and warm hospitality; and stories from the hidden rivers that might possibly have the most beautiful scenery in the Pines.
