Author Biography

Stacy Bettencourt is a quilling artist with a world-wide following. Over the last few years, her body of work and her quilling group, Contemporary Quilling, have made their mark on the global quilling community. Stacy is perhaps best known for her viral Original Scrollwork Cat design, as well as several prominent pieces of art, including Hear Me Roar, her multi-layered quilled lion, and Rising Phoenix, her quilled fire bird. Stacy is currently focusing on large projects and developing courses that will be held locally. Amanda Luke is an artist based in Anacortes, Washington. Originally a painter, Amanda found a passion for paper quilling while perusing social media sites of quilling artists who made paper come to life. She is currently working on vibrant and creative monogram quilling pieces, as well as expanding her artistic horizons to create even more stunning works in paper and other mediums.
