Summary

Wrought with terrible injuries and abandoned, Gracie, an adorable Italian Greyhound, is rescued from a Colorado animal hospital by a "special someone" who feels an immediate connection to the frightened pup. Based on a true and continuing story, author Diane Dike, suffering from a disease that daily steals her quality of life, prays and finds hope, help, and Gracie -- a warm and fuzzy gift from God. Book One of a planned series of heartwarming "tails" written to share with children and animal lovers, Gracie Comes Home introduces the characters of Gracie and Diane and highlights the start of their relationship. The growing bond between broken dog and struggling woman, captured beautifully by the color illustrations of Craig and Samantha Grasso, gently teaches readers of all ages the wondrous strength of faith, hope, and unconditional love.
