Hello, Forever Home? It's me, Kona

This is a story about a shelter dog named Kona and her first few weeks at her new home. She's wondering if this will be her forever home where she will no longer be lonely and sad (like her days at the animal shelter). At the new home, she participates in different fun activities with her new mom but causes mishaps & awkward moments and wonders if she will be sent back to the animal shelter. Will her new mom have extra love, patience, encouragement and even ideas to help solve the lack of confidence, quirkiness and problems often seen in a rescue dog? Will Kona finally find her forever home here?

Peggy Ducky is a first-time author & illustrator of children's books. She has been an animal lover all her life and hopes to make a difference by being the voice (through her words and pictures) for animals in need. Peggy lives in California, where she writes & draws with the family dog Kona napping on her lap, and with inspiring sounds of jazz, classical & electronic music playing in the background.
