She learns the old fashioned art of diplomacy when visiting one of the newest foreign territories of the Order. A tour of it's beauty captures her heart and desire to explore more. And more is exactly what she gets when the top man takes interest in her and her magic.

The mystery of the fish escapes her as she tries to learn its purpose through her trials. Zenobia learns how to conduct her first solo reaping using her own words and incantations. Old habits die hard, and Zenobia must accept the laws of the land instead of those of the Covenant. This goes against every fibre of her being and she tries to force change in the region.

Ingrid Goddard is a retired Financial Analyst from the Government of Canada. Ingrid was born in Montreal, Quebec Canada, on October 2, 1974. Over the years Ingrid has had many interests including; politics, writing, and education. In her various work environments Ingrid has written several job manuals and internal working policies. She writes poetry, short stories, and is now a novelist. Mrs. Goddard has published works through literary magazines and the Financial Management Institute. In February of 2017, Ms. Goddard suffered a concussion which uprooted her life and cost her a job she truly loved. Now medically retired, she has turned to writing to keep her mind occupied and still feel like a contributing member of society. She is also an advocate for mental health and mental health service dogs, having trained her own dog to respond to stress and anxiety. Mental health remains a daily struggle, but taking a few minutes each day to write a little something is the best therapy she's found (other than her dog of course)!
