Author Biography

Catherine N. Mulligan, Ph.D., is a chemical and civil engineer with over a decade of experience in biotreatment research. Formerly with the National Research Council of Canada's Biotechnology Research Institute, she currently works as a senior research engineer at SNC Research Corp. and as a professor at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. She holds memberships with the Air and Waste Management Association, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Canadian Society of Chemical Engineering, the Canadian Society for Civil Engineering, and the Order of Engineers of Quebec
