Author Biography

Hilary Bird is of Estonian and Lithuanian parentage. After a long career in public service, a search for her roots led her to Estonia. She lives in Tartu and writes a regular column titled Bird Droppings. Ulvi Mustmaa works in the travel industry. In addition to some Christmas song lyrics, she is the author of Latvian Stories. Lembit Öpik is a Member of Parliament. He is well known for his TV appearances on shows such as Question Time, Have I Got News For You, and I'm a Celebrity–Get Me Out of Here!. He is a public speaker, a qualified pilot, and an avid astronomer.
