Author Biography

Stacey Marolf is a co-developer of the very successful Great Guests program, in which performers visit schools as famous historical characters. Stacey has a strong background in theater and dance and has many years experience teaching dance to children. She also headed the dance portion of the humanities program at Balderas Elementary School in Fresno, California Stacey holds a B.A. in Art History. Laurie Pessano is a co-developer of the Great Guests program. She has been the director of a children's performing troupe for 15 years, compiling, vocal coaching and choreographing as needed. Laurie has performed in or directed over 50 theatrical productions. She has taught drama at the elementary and high school levels and in the humanities program at Balderas Elementary School in Fresno. She holds a B.A. in Home Economics.
