Broken Angels

We are all fallen creatures battling our way through a spiritual war. Trapped between heaven and hell, we struggle to understand our suffering, but understanding it is half the battle; it’s our fears that make us who we are. Only when we look at death do we appreciate living. But the journey into the underworld is not easy, and we must revise our fears in order to redeem the light. There is much beauty to be found in the fog around tombstones. Pull down your shades, light a candle and we will explore the dark trudge of our existence. Surely, things aren’t really that depressing, nor are they as mysterious as you think. Yes, I know you have checks on the dark side of your nature, but we have all encountered the darkest side. The great mystics call this transcending—passing through a barrier to complete a union with God. We are all broken angels who seek salvation, but our tattered wings can still lead us to heaven.
