Author Biography

Carolyn T. Sumners, Ed.D.-scientist, educator, and best-selling author, has taught children of all ages and trained NASA astronauts in starfield identification. She is director of Astronomy and Physics at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Pat Rawlings-space artist and conceptual designer, has produced hundreds of images and designs for NASA, magazines, books, television, and films which have been seen all over the world. He is an Art Director for Science Applications Corp. in Houston, Texas.
