Suonan Ciren Rinpoche is the translator. This name is his Dharma title as a religious leader, there isn't really a designation for first name last name in the rinpoche title. He was born in China but has lived in the United States for many years. He is also a physicist and formerly worked for NASA. He has translated many works from Chinese to English
