Summary

This is the story that began the the Chewster family's saga. There were four siblings, all attending Burbank High School in southern California. After their mother marries an elderly castle builder from Finland, the siblings struggle to cope with ordinary teenage woes as well as not-so ordinary events. While Sean and Tatiana have relatively harmless obsessions, their brother Fred is consumed by a philosophy of hatred which threatens to destroy the very fabric of their world, and Emily is left alone to pick up the pieces.
