Author Biography

Nita is a graduate of the California Institute of Technology and the University of California at Los Angeles. She is a master of the airport pentathlon and stores her furniture and unused kitchen paraphernalia in Reno, Nevada. When not collaborating with hard-working and amazing teachers to rapidly increase student learning, or partnering with school and district administrators to create rewarding career opportunities for teachers, Nita can be found attempting to carve first tracks in fresh powder around Lake Tahoe. Suzie the Suitcase is her first book.
