Author Biography

About the Editors N. J. A. Sloane and Aaron D. Wyner have been in the Mathematical Science Research Center at Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, New Jersey 07974, for a total of 52 years. They have written a total of 2<SUP>8</SUP> papers and books on information theory and related topics. They have both served as Editors-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Information Theory.
