CHRISTINA BALIT has illustrated a number of children’s books, including Atlantis and Escape from Pompeii. Before becoming a prizewinning illustrator, Ms. Balit studied at the Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art in London. She lives in Kent, England.
