Author Biography

<B>Matthew R. Poole</B>, a native Californian, has authored and contributed to more than 20 travel guides, including <I>Frommer's California, ACCESS Hawaii</I>, and <I>Berlitz Las Vegas</I>. Before becoming a full-time travel writer and photographer, he worked as an English tutor in Prague, ski instructor in the Swiss Alps, and scuba instructor in Maui. He currently lives in Marin County, but spends most of his time on the road doing research and avoiding commitments.
