Summary

When his family leaves for the day, house cat Fred doesn't sit inside watching the world go by. He becomes Nature Cat, backyard explorer extraordinaire!

Start a lifelong love of nature and science!

Whether you live in a quiet town or busy city, you can discover the great outdoors all around you.

Nature Cat, Hal, Squeeks, and Daisy help kids ages 6 to 9 answer questions like: Why do birds tweet? What's to love about mud? And when can you see a rainbow?

Find and draw plants, animals, and other things that make up the environment. Plus, learn to make DIY tools to help you look even closer at nature. Make an underwater pond viewer, create a small compost bin, and more! You'll also help nature by conserving water and growing a seed.

This full color, 80-page activity book is packed with facts, inspires outdoor play, and sparks curiosity.

The pullout poster reminds kids to keep exploring. This is the must-have book for any Nature Cat fan or nature explorer!

Nature Cat airs twice daily on PBS!
