Author Biography

<b> Dr Supachai Panitchpakdi </b> has held a range of positions in the Thai government, including Deputy Prime Minster (1992-95) and Deputy Finance Minister (1986-88). He was directly in charge of Thailand's participation in the Uruguay Round of multilateral trade negotiations including its subsequent ratification and implementation.
