Author Biography

Ed Bott is an award-winning computer journalist and one of the most widely recognized voices in the computing world, with nearly two decades of experience as a writer and editor at leading magazines such as PC World and PC Computing. Currently, he is Senior Contributing Editor for Smart Business (formerly PC Computing), a 1999 National Magazine Award winner with a monthly circulation of more than 1 million. On the Web, Ed is the Guide to Windows for About - The Human Internet (http://windows.about.com), one of the Internet's leading resources for news, information, and entertainment; he also writes a weekly column for TechRepublic.com.
