Author Biography

ERIN BELL has a PhD in History from the University of York, UK, and is an AHRC Research Fellow working on the Televising History project in the Faculty of Media & Humanities at the University of Lincoln, UK.

ANN GRAY is Professor of Cultural Studies at the University of Lincoln, UK, and Director of the Televising History research project. She is the author of Video Playtime: The Gendering of a Leisure Technology (1992) and Research Practice for Cultural Studies (2003).
